This activity allows students to delve more deeply into the structure of organ systems, becoming experts in their area and providing the class with information and models to view.
This activity allows students to study the ecosystem of an endangered species, and gives them an opportunity to act on their behalf, to save the ecosystem that they live in. The ideas of environmental stewardship, and the interactions between fauna, flora, and humans are important concepts that students will address in this project.
This culminating task allows students to create a pop-up book about an organ system of their choice.

This Rocks and Minerals scenario involves a hypothetical rock quarry built next to the school. Students collect rocks from the neighborhood, analyze them and write a letter to the local City Councillor giving their recommendation as to whether to go ahead with the rock quarry or not.
In this activity students will engage in creating a Cell Amusement park using their knowledge of cells and their functions. Students will then try and convince their audience to come to their cell amusement park through an oral/visual presentation.
